After years of perfecting recipes in his home kitchen — testing heat levels on unsuspecting friends and family — Joe took the leap in 2018 and opened the first Hangry Joe's location at 4201 Martin Luther King Blvd. What started as a tiny counter-service spot quickly became a neighborhood landmark.
